A tiring day :D

Took a day off to bring Juz to a play presented by SRT's The Little Company, The Boy who Cried Wolf.

This play is to teach kids age 2-6 year old on the importance of telling the truth through a fun and heart-warming way. There are alot of preschoolers with teachers attending this play and to keep the kids glued to the seats, the actors interacted with the audiences quite intensively. :D

Justin enjoyed the fun and show very much and we might be attending their next production in November, The Jungle Book. Well, we might bring kerin along if she wants to.

Personally, I find the stage designs and drama more suitable for kids age 2-4yrs and the morale of the story will be more applicable to 5yrs and above. Though it is a kiddy show, I myself enjoyed the production and looking to attend their next production (for dating/married couples) with kel and maybe jio a couples of friends along.

After the show, we joined Aunty S at Orchard to catch G-Force on 3D!!! Hehehehe...it is REALLY Good and it is an early bd present for Juz. Again, he really has a good day, eating alot of junk, watching shows and shopping for the whole day. Me is really shacked by the end of the day and very lost underground at Ion Orchard..(Hiazzzzzzz, i shld go there more often..)

Still early for the play..checking out DBS arts centre...

Term Break

Juz is having his week long sch holidays this coming Monday. Usually on his school off days, we tried not to send him to daycare centre but packed him off to his grandparents place to spend sometime with them.

So, come next wk, he will be spending 3 days at his grandparents place, 1 day to JPB (part of the centre activity) and I'll take a day off to bring him to catch a play and movie together with a friend. His Oct exam timetable is out and frankly, I am starting to get exam jitters. :D But then, Kel and I will still let him have some fun time besides piling him with the usual assessments he needs to do. Our first time experiencing exams (or shld I say) our kid's exams..will I hv sleepless nites??? ??:(

Happy September

I find myself entering the same contents every September of the year. This month is the kiddos' bd together wif Edwin (my cousin) + a couple of close friends who are all September babies (seems to be very fated to meet all of them at 1 go.) So, what are we going to do this month?

For the kiddos, Kerin has already told us in Aug that she wants to hv 2 cakes. 1 for her CC celebration and 1 for mama's hse celebration! (She is a young lady with her own mind and planning). She has already decided her theme too *it was a close fight btw Dora and Strawberry Shortcake* And finally ! Strawberry Shortcake WON!!! We will order for her a Strawberry Shortcake cake from Prima Deli and pack SSC Goodies bags for her friends at the CC. And as for Juz, we have settled him with a cake and a speed boat (he is smarter, he is asking for alot of different kind of stuff, like DS, PSP, Wii etc...) But we ain't buying that for him now..maybe for Xmas.

Plus, Kel and I hv arranged for a fun gate away this coming Saturday to celebrate their bd in advance since it is a long wkend. And where are we going? Hahaha.. ** Will post that later.. **

My stinky comfort pillow

I had dinner last nite with my pal (my best pal - in my eyes) and every session with her is very interesting, animated and therapeutic with minimal food consumption (cos most of the time we are yakking.. and not too much eating). We have been together for 18 yrs (I mean our friendship). We rode through ups and downs in most of our life events together and though there is a "cold" period but I guess what meant to be in life will be and yes, she is indeed a true friend. She is just those stinky comfort pillow that I need to 'smell' on and off to get my sense of security back. A true friend is one who will stand behind you 101% without questioning. Of course, when there are times advices are needed to be given, it will always be in a kind and advising tone and not criticising or hurtful comments.

In life, if you happen to hv such a friend, pls treasure the relationship. All other things in life can be purchased through the use of money but kinship and friendship are priceless. And I am very lucky to hv both of them.

GI J..ustin!?!?!

I almost fainted when I went home yesterday and saw him!! I hv always hated that look and to me, it projects a very naughty, rebellious and big bully image.

Already sent out a warning that no such sight to be repeated in the hse..(though mama say..it is just a miscomm.)

Justin's GI haircut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arraghhhhhhhh..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
